いかがですか。ポイントは赤字の部分で、「CV(履歴書)を磨く、つまり、もっと頑張って経歴をよくしないと仕事を失うよ」から、答えは3番になります。この問題は答えの部分の語彙がレベルが高く、おまけに”now’s the time”といった省略的でインディレクトな答え方なので、難易度の高い問題と言えるでしょう。しかし、語彙力がある人はそれまでの発言からも答えが推測できるでしょう。いずれにしても、このダイアローグに使われた次の表現からもわかるように、英検1級の対話式リスニング問題は、TOEICやTOEFLと違って、語彙表現のレベルが高いので、日頃から洋画、ビジネス英語、英会話レッツスピークなどで表現力をUPさせておく必要があります。

以上の選択肢から何らかの計画か提案 に対して２者が議論しその結果何かが起こったということが予測できますね。前述のようにトラブルや困難の状況が問題になることが多いので、大体においてネガティブなものが正解になるとすると、1が最も可能性が高いですが、やりすぎると墓穴を掘ることもあるので、あくまで目安である程度に留めておいて、安定した「英語の実力」をつけましょう。
